Our family had a big surprise this past week when my little grandson was born eight weeks early. He was tiny at only 4 lbs. 2 oz., but he's a fighter! We're so happy he's here.

I'm an award-winning romantic suspense novelist, but in my free time I love to review books and my fave TV shows, as well as pass along great book deals, and eat Canadian chocolate---not necessarily in that order.

Yes, my youngest was born two months early as well, at almost the exact size of your grandson. He was diagnosed in utero with a heart defect, but we were blessed with miracle after miracle. He never had to have surgery and he is a very healthy almost two year old now!
