Podcast Prep

 We're getting ready to do our podcast tomorrow, so we're talking to each other about questions we can ask and experiences we've had with different aspects of our lives that we're planning on sharing. I admit, I love that part. Becky and Jennifer are so witty and fun, I love talking to them. And they always have stuff going on in their lives! I truly wish you all could be there for one of these sessions, or for about half an hour before the podcast starts when we're just chatting. It would be so fun! Maybe we should record that someday.

The Authors Off the Page January podcast is live! I'm so excited for our second season. We added a new book spotlight feature and our first spotlight is Accidental Text by Becky Monson. You'll get all the behind-the-scenes scoop of how that book came to be.

Some Exciting News About Authors Off the Page

I am so excited to announce that the Authors Off the Page podcast is now on Amazon and Audible! That means that you can ask your Alexa, "hey, Alexa, play the Authors Off the Page podcast" and she'll play it for you! Yay! It's so fun to see our podcast growing. 

And we have a new episode up! In this one we talk about all things October including Canadian Thanksgiving, (so much yummy food!) our fears (I was surprised by Jennifer's and laughed so hard at/with Becky!), Halloween costumes, and scary movies! Oh, and we also read an excerpt from our book where our characters have to face a fear.

Summer Treats and a New Podcast Episode!

I am so glad it is nearly the weekend! What a crazy week this has been for me. (Though I really do enjoy summertime and being with my kids.)

I think I'm going to make my favorite summer treat today---strawberry rhubarb crisp! It's so easy and yummy. What's your favorite summer treat? And if you have the recipe handy, I've love to try it!

Have you listened to the Authors Off the Page podcast? Every month I chat with best-selling authors Jennifer Peel and Becky Monson about what we're writing and everything else "off the page."

This month was a little different since we couldn't actually meet because of social distancing guidelines, but it was still fun. Jennifer Peel discusses a sudden loss in her family as well as gives a sneak peek into the book she's currently working on. We all talk about how quarantine is going for us (some better than others!) and both Becky and I read a bit of our work-in-progress. Even though we're in quarantine, we still had a good time and I hope our listeners will, too!
