I'm an award-winning romantic suspense novelist, but in my free time I love to review books and my fave TV shows, as well as pass along great book deals, and eat Canadian chocolate---not necessarily in that order.
This week went so much better than last week! I'm almost back on track and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. (And I love all the sunshine we've been getting lately. It makes me feel happy).
And here's a video to help in your own feeling of happiness. :)
I wrote 8442 new words this week and did a boatload of editing. It feels sooooo good. I'M HAPPY!
Between edits for Rebel Princess and edits for my WIP, I'm a little burned out. So I started something new. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it. I usually write middle grade speculative and this is a contemporary LDS romantic comedy. I've written 2400 words. I'm sure I'll keep on as long as it amuses me.
We drove up to American Fork, Utah from Yuma (round trip of 1400 miles) to visit my son and his wife this week. It was a surprise visit, at least for our son. DIL was in on the conspiracy. He turned 30 on Saturday. I didn't get any writing done until today, but I was able to squeeze in nearly 2,500 words. I'm happy! So glad you are too!

Over 8000 words? Did your kids go on vacation without you? =)
I'm with you - loving the sunny days. I love that feeling of warmth on my skin, with a slight breeze to cool me off. Perfecto!
Haha, well, sort of. It was spring break so I had a lot of helpers around so I could get more writing in.
I wish the weather would stay like this for longer. I'm really loving it. :)
