Well, this past week has been very productive. I finished the book. There's still one more round of edits, but it's done. Finito. And it feels sooooooo good.
So, today, I want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement through all the sprints and terrible word count weeks and all the pats on the back for the great word count weeks. You are awesome. Thank you.
I know there's another story to come, but today I am basking in the glow of a finished novel and great bloggy friends.
How did you do this week?

To tell you the truth, I've lost count--word count that is. I am at 58,804 and am shooting for a total of 68K to 70 thousand words in my Alfred Hitchcock-y suspense, Relative Evil. I'm getting ever closer to the end scene. The main characters are driving up the that cabin in the mountains near Taos even as we speak. *Ooooh, goosebumps*
Congrats on finishing Colby's story. Basking is necessary.
They're not going up there alone are they? *shiver* That doesn't sound like a good idea. :) You sound like you're making very good progress.
Thanks. I love basking every now and again. :)
Oh! So! Completely! ALONE! Yep, that's never a good idea when a bad guy with a dark van wielding a gun is after you. Bwwahahahahaha!!!!
Can't wait to read it. Probably a daytime book for me, though, from the sounds of it. :)
LOL!!! That would be the biggest compliment I could ever get. EVER!
I added about 6000 words, bringing my new book to 12k and change
Ethan, that is AWESOME! Congrats on such a great word count.
Yeah! Three cheers for Julie!
Thanks, Kristine!
