Audiobook of A Tangled Romance Available!

I know I've already reviewed this book, but it's now available in audio, so I thought I'd tell you about it again!

First of all, isn't that a great cover? So romantic!

I also really liked the story. Nora is a young woman hoping to find love. She has several acquaintances, but one Mr. Faussett has caught her eye. However, her family has had an agreement with a Mr. Browning since she was a baby and he is now returning to England after being abroad for many years. Which man can earn Nora's love? And will she have to sacrifice her own feelings to save her family estate?

The author does a great job with the setting and descriptions that help the reader really get a sense of the time period. I wish we had a little more detail on Mr. Browning's backstory for reasons that become clear at the end, but there is just enough push and pull between Nora and her two suitors that make it believable. There were some nice twists and turns that will keep readers entranced and hoping for the happily-ever-after that Nora deserves. A sweet listen that historical romance lovers will really enjoy.

Here's the back copy:

Nora Ellsworth, darling of London society, has her choice of eligible suitors, but since childhood, she has been expected to marry Jonathan Browning, a gentleman whose wealth and stability will someday secure the futures of Nora and her mother and sister. The family estate will pass to an odious male cousin upon the death of Nora’s father, and when he suddenly takes ill, her need to marry well becomes vitally important.

As Nora struggles with the idea of marrying without love, she finds herself increasingly drawn to Devlin Fausett, a man with dark eyes and intriguing conversation. But Devlin’s reputation as an indebted gambler is difficult to ignore. Despite the rumors from the ton and the marriage decision before her, Nora is determined to befriend the dashing Mr. Fausett, and his charms soon make it all but impossible to remember her duty. Until she learns the truth of her fortune. There is a way to keep her family’s estate, but the price is high: Nora must wed, as soon as possible. Torn between two very different men, she must make the ultimate decision. Will she be guided by her head or her heart?
