Word Count Wednesday

Well, it's been another productive week in spite of real life creeping in.  I wrote 7401 words and finished the ending.  It's still pretty rough, but I have a great critique group and patient beta readers to help me smooth it out.  I'm so excited to be closing in on having this thing DONE!  I can't even tell you how great it felt to write the epilogue and see the end of the story on paper.  (Or computer screen as the case may be.)

How did you do this week?

Oh, I only wrote 2700 words. Not much, especially next to someone on a roll like you. You're on fire! And you could read a whole book this week too. Amazing! I do understand that your beta readers are veeery patient.

Debra, I handwrote a lot of it this week, then transferred it over to the computer when I had a chance. That helped my word count a lot.

Thank goodness for beta readers! :)

Goose egg, donut, the big O. Nada, zilch, diddly over squat.

Very unproductive writing week. In my defense I have ... still nothing. Bleh. I blame it on the meds.

Congratulations to both of you, though. Wow! Very nice!

Can't believe you handwrote (?) a lot. I wrote like a track listing for a CD with 18 songs and my hand was hurting after that. There was a time not that long ago that I was writing a short story out on paper, but it's been a while. (Things to do while bored in class.)
