Exhaustion

I apologize to all of my loyal readers for not posting today.  This is the first day in two and a half years I haven't posted.  (Although, it's not quite midnight, so technically I am posting I guess.)

I did have a wonderful book review to post, but I was at the hospital with my son for eight hours today and even though I was just sitting at his bedside, I am exhausted and just cannot get up any oomph to post my review.  I hope you will all bear with me and come back tomorrow to read it.  I know it will make more sense and be readable if I can just crawl in my bed and get some rest.

Thank you all for understanding.  There's just something about being a mom and having a child in the hospital that takes all a mother's energy.  (He's going to be fine, the surgery went well, it's just a matter of recuperating now.)

I think I'm sort of rambling now, so I'm going to go get my comfy PJs on.  See y'all tomorrow, okay?

I took my younger son to the hospital plenty of times due to accidents. But I can't imagine how I'd feel if I had to wait while he was having an operation. I'd probably freak. I'm glad your child is better.
