Book Review and Giveaway!

Six Days to Live is an edge-of-your-seat suspense that you won't want to put down!

Eddie is an alcoholic who has lost everything---his family, his job, and his home. He needs money for his addiction, but the only way to get it is to steal it. He plans the bank robbery, but in the ensuing chaos, he shoots a guard and kills him. Now on the run, he needs to ditch his car. A woman alone in a crowded parking lot catches his eye and he car-jacks her. Addison can hardly believe what's happening. She's supposed to be welcoming her military husband home, but instead she's taken hostage. With a few survival skills at her disposal, she tries to plan an escape, but her captor is becoming increasingly unstable. Her husband joins in the search for her, but is there any hope of finding her before it's too late?

I loved the fast pace of this book. It was a roller-coaster as Eddie sets the events into motion on the first page and the reader is along for the wild ride. The characters were realistic, with plenty of emotion that carries the reader right along with the characters. I thought our hero and heroine were really relatable and I was rooting for them the entire time. The twists and turns will keep you glued until the very last page, wondering how in the world this was going to end and hoping for a happy ending. This is a new author to me, and I'll definitely be watching for more from him.

Sometimes disaster is simply a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Take Addison Roberts, for example: it is a deadly coincidence that in a crowded parking lot one day, she catches the eye of a dangerous criminal on the run. In his desperation to evade the police, what he needs is a way out—and Addison and her car are his ticket to escape.

Lieutenant Chase Roberts, on leave from his military assignment, is anxious to be reunited with his wife. Yet as night falls and Addison fails to appear, Chase feels a rising sense of foreboding. Hours quickly become days as he desperately works with authorities to find the woman he loves. But after being named a person of interest, Chase is warned away from the investigation—a mandate he ignores. Chase will stop at nothing to find his wife, and what he ultimately discovers is terrifying: Addison has been carjacked by a man who has killed before and has no scruples about killing again . . .
