Hello Julie, one year I dressed like an Indian Princess! I looked great and felt beautiful. Thank you
When I was in college I was Daisy Duke one year.
Last year I made a costume for my husband- he was the game Twister :)
I liked being a goddess, but the truth is, the best costume I've ever had was a Cowardly Lion costume my mother-in-law made for me. I was the Lion, my sister was Dorothy, her husband was Tinman, and my hubby was Scarecrow. We looked pretty cool. My costume was sexy or anything (it was more like footy pjs - BIG footy pjs, but it was a fun costume. We all looked liked we were supposed to, though. :)
The most awesome Halloween costume I ever had was when I was 11. My neighbor returned home after 2 1/2 years in Korwas. He had a Geisha girl dress that was only slightly too big. His married sister fixed my hair as he showed her in a picture and put on my makeup. He also had the hair ornaments.
I felt Beautiful! I hated for tat night to end.
My favorite was when I was Lucy from I Love Lucy and my husband was Ricky. =)
Favorite would be my vampire get up, I went all out with a sleeved velvet corset top, leather pants and the movie like teeth. :)
My mom made me in to a scary witch when I was 4.
Honestly, I've never made or worn an awesome costume-- but my husband, baby, and I are probably going to go as the moustache-clad Beastie Boys from the "Sabotage" video for Halloween. It should be funny :)
I made my husband this really fancy Lord of the Rings type costume. He wore it a couple of times and then sold it. (It was really supposed to be for his sister's Lord of the Rings autumn wedding, but the wedding was called off--at least it was put to good use)
Maybe not the best but my favorite costume was when I went as a single-celled organism. I glued the parts of a cell onto an old nightgown.
One year I was a Christmas present. :)
My favorite Halloween costume was Little Red Riding Hood. It was about 4-5 years ago and I loved it! This year I am hoping to top that but I have no idea with what. haha.
Thanks for the giveaway!
The best halloween costume I had was a black cat.
i won a costume contest in school once. My brother was a Lion Tamer, i was his Assistant and my baby cousins were the lions.
I'm not very original...but I love dressing as a witch!
We made Raven from Teen Titans for my daughter.
Many years ago I went to an office party as a nurse and I came out looking very good and professional.
One year all of the teachers on our team dressed up
as different colors in a box of crayons. We looked
really good. Our first graders loved them!
Two years ago I made my husband a headless horseman costume and he won first place! He looked great.
I don't do costumes much these days but once I dressed up as the Cat in the Hat at work and it was kind of fun. :)
My first costume I ever made was a pumpkin, it was big and fluffy loll but I loved it and I was about 14 when I wore it loll hehe
I was a witch
The most awesome costume I ever made and worn was a Cotton Candy Costume.
I was a scary, ugly witch.
My mother and I made my daughter a pretty cool poodle skirt one afternoon.
When I was twelve, we found a prom dress from the 50s at a garage sale. That was the most awesome dress (and costume) ever!
In grade school, my mother dressed me as Carmen Miranda, complete with the fruit on my head. You have to be older to know who Carmen Miranda was, or a fan of 1940's musicals.
what an awesome giveaway!
I was a Christmas tree once. I had ornaments hanging and everything
The most awesome I made was one year my sister and her boyfriend went as mobsters :) I had a black pinstripe skirt and blazer suit, which she wore, then we added white carnation boutonniere and a black fedora for her and him. He wore a black pinstripe vest and black pants and the boutonniere. They both had fake cigars too, lol :)
I don't know that I would consider it "awesome" but my favorite was a "flapper" costume that was actually clothes that my Nana had when she WAS a "flapper."
A bee costume with yellow duct tape!
We always wore our old dance costumes growing up. My son had a gorgeous lion costume when he was little. The mane on it was amazing.
I have made several costumes for my kids (Indiana Jones, Pirate, Vampires) for the kiddos
I made a dinosaur costume that one a contest once.
The most awesome costume I have ever worn was the year I dressed as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
I worn a Wonder Woman costume once.
My husband and I were a plug and a plug in for a work Halloween party a few years ago. The costumes were really easy to make and were the hit of the party.
I was a clown. I can still remember the itchy wig I wore with it.
Princess
I was a gypsy one year. It was a DIY costume. I wore a long tiered skirt, peasant blouse, jewelry, and a bandana. It was one of my favorite costumes.
Thanks :)
when i was a kid my mom made me a clown costume.i looked great
I once dressed up as the roach motel manager and had a giant cockroach on my back. I also carried plenty of rubber cockroaches to drop on tables ect. to scare people. It was fun!
I dressed up as Cathy from the Cathy comic strip.
I think my favorite Halloween costume ever has to be the black cat costume my mom and aunt made me when I was younger-ears, tail, and whiskers included :)
I helped my granddaughter with her monster high costume. She looked really gory.
I was Snow White when I was a child!

When my son was 5, his dad and I made him an Elvis costume. We used a white shirt and pants and glued sequins and jewels all over them for the outfit. For the hair, we bought a werewolf wig and cut pork chop side burns into it. He won a costume contest! We also taught him to say "Thank-you, thank-you very much". So funny!
I loved my Rainbow Brite costume!
Jolly Green Giant..don't ask..hahaha
When I was real little my mom made me a chicken costume.
My favorite is my Raggedy Ann costume that my mom made we when I was a little girl.
Tara Woods
When I was younger and I dressed as a 50's girl. My mom made me a poodle skirt and I went all out with the outfit. I loved it!
I was happy going as cat-woman (just a spandex mask with cat ears) almost every year until I was like 12. Sometimes just to mix things up I wore a witch's hat on top of the mask. Since then I haven't dressed up.
Princess wearing a real gown!
I was a butterfly one year, when I was 5 or 6, and that was pretty awesome! My mother is a choreographer, and a very talented makeup artist to boot, so my homemade costumes were always breathtaking, but that year was the very best.
One year I made my husband a Mugatu costume in 24hrs. Last year I made him a Peanut, from Jeff Dunham's puppets, costume. I sewed the whole body suit. It was awesome.
I was southern lady from the 1800's was the last year I did Halloween they kept saying that I was to old for Halloween .I was 15
This is a tough one! I think my most favorite was my son's costume we made last year. He wanted to be WWE Superstar Seth Rollings and we made the wig and money in the bank briefcase he used as his candy bag! Seth Rollings and the WWE even tweeted out his picture it was epic!
One year I got dressed up as a brick...my boyfriend wore white coveralls, a white cap and carried a trowel....he was a brick-layer.
