Happy New Year!!!
(I saw this pic on Facebook and really liked the sentiment).
I'm in the process of making my writing goals for 2014. So far, I know for sure the Captain's story from my Hostage Negotiation Team series will be out in May.
There's a few other things on my list, but I'm going to sit down today and really plan it out.
What are your writing goals for 2014?

I reposted that placard on my Facebook yesterday. Love the sentiment. I says so much, and you don't even need to be a writer to appreciate it.
I have very clear goals this year:
1) Finish the portrait on my drawing board--first thing. Start an art project of my own granddaughter!
2) Every morning: pray/eat/read (listen to) BofM/ Exercise 30 minutes a day--5 days a week
3) Publish RELATIVE EVIL (either traditionally or indie)
4) Start submissions on CHANGES OF THE HEART, a mainstream romantic suspense.
5) Finish writing A STRANGE TWIST OF FATE, (Only about 30 pages into it, but I submitted the first 500 words into the ANWA Conference Beginning of Book contest--February 22nd) and start submissions.
6) (Rewrite slightly) Indie publish paranormal trilogy
I think if I can succeed on these few goals, then 2014 will be very good to me.
Good luck on the Captain's story!
I'm planning to use the daily prompts on this subreddit:

to write a little or a lot as a daily (more or less) exercise. My hope is that it will prime the pump for me to start writing towards a finished manuscript.
I think I better start saving my money (maybe using that saving plan I've seen everywhere on Facebook) so that I can afford to buy your 5+ books this year, Debra! =)
Ah, heck, Jon, I'll send you the manuscripts. No need to spend any money. :)
