Word Count Wednesday

Have you ever been in your bed, with the covers just right, your pillow position perfect, and you know you need to get up, but you just don't want to because you are so incredibly comfortable?

Yeah, that's where I was this morning. *sigh*

But I am really excited to tell you I got 3676 words this week. And I'm at a crucial part of my manuscript, a milestone if you will, so that is double-exciting for me.

It was something to get out of bed for, anyway. :)

How did you do this week?

Before my head cold turned into bronchitis, I managed to eke out about 300 words. Now that I'm on antibiotics and doing better, I hope I can get some more done this coming week.

Congrats on your word count. And every morning I experience the pangs of loss as I must climb out of my comfy bed to go to work.

I'm not doing a word count since I finished my rough draft and started revisions. Yesterday I fixed a major world building problem regarding the creatures that go bump in the night. So excited.

I got over 3000 this week, which is pretty good for me. Then, this morning, I decided to trash chapter 2. Writing is kind of like the bunny hop, isn't it? Jump forward 3, then back 2.

I finished my wip this week.

First draft only, I mean :-)

Way to go, Julie! Everyone else too. Melanie, I hope you feel better soon!

I reached my goal for last week of getting to page 185 (that was thirteen pages, or about 2600 words). I am still on track this week to write fifteen pages and get to page 200. =)

Melanie, I'm glad you're feeling better. 300 words is great when you're as sick as you are.

Michael, I feel for you. No fun.

Janice, I love revisions. It IS exciting!

Rebecca, that is exactly how I feel sometimes. Doin' the bunny hop, hop, hop!

Sarah, congratulations! I'm so happy for you! If you need a beta reader . . . :)

Angie, congrats on your progress, too! I'm so happy for you. We all did wonderfully this week!
