Word Count Wednesday

I am LOVING having a critique partner. I have buckled down like never before and squeezed writing minutes out of a day that I didn't think had anything extra in it. It's been wonderful for my work-in-progress.

This week I had 2543 words and, while it's not as much as the last two weeks, I'm really proud of that and feel like I'm making forward progress.

How did you do?

Sudden burst of depression about the story I'm writing + bad head cold = writing count of 0.

3,000. Which is better than I've done for a couple weeks now. So glad you do this post--it's a great motivator. I'm getting there. Slowly, but surely!

Where can I find a writing partner like yours! That's aweseome. Keep up the word production.

Just finished the rough draft of my WIP. (I even wrote End) Now I'm on to revisions. And I'm sending queries to agents for my completed manuscript.

Mine was around 2100. I am having a lot of fun with what I'm writing and coming up with new ideas. I keep going backwards to revise, so I'm not sure how that all works with my word count.

Thanks for the words of welcome last week!

Great job! I got nine (out of ten) pages last week. This week, I'm hoping to get a lot more. I want 25 pages done by the end of the month!

Glad it's going well for you :-)

Melanie, I hope you're feeling better! Next week will be good for you, I can feel it. :)

Brittany, I'm so glad you think so, too. It's been a great motivator for me knowing that I have to check in on Wednesday. :)

Thanks, anon! So far it's been wonderful.

Janice, congratulations! You have to tell us as soon as you hear anything! :)

Rebecca, that's great. I know when I'm having fun the words just seem to flow easier. Great job on the word count this week!

Angie, we should totally make a pact---25 pages by the end of the month. We can do it!

Sarah, you are amazing, as usual. I hope to someday get to read your stuff! :)
