Wedding Plans Wednesday & Another Stop on the Blog Tour!

I know this is usually Word Count Wednesday, but since my son is getting married this weekend, I'm calling it Wedding Plans Wednesday because that's all I do these days!  We have been putting together a video of my son and his fiancee when they were babies all the way up until now and, even though I know it sounds corny, I just keep thinking where did the time go? I see those pictures of me holding him as a baby and I can't help but smile and feel a little weepy.  That baby is now a six foot five man who is so in love and so happy and marrying the woman he adores.  I just know I'll be feeling so much happiness on his wedding day that I won't be able to hold back the tears.  Definitely need to remember some touch up makeup!

Here's a picture of the happy couple at Lake Louise.

So stinkin' cute!  It makes me smile just looking at them!

This past week we've done the family bridal shower, dinner with the future in-laws, and are welcoming the guests coming in from out of town.  All the last minute preparations like talking to the caterer, making sure all the desserts are ordered and the last of the clothing is bought and fitted are on my to do list.  An exciting but busy time! What have you been doing this week? Any last minute advice for the mother of the groom?

And in case you didn't hear, we're in the middle of Ring Around the Rosie's blog tour.  Today's review is from Min Reads.  Here's part of what she had to say: "Ring Around the Rosie grabs you quick and doesn't let up until the last page, suddenly I had read 10 chapters. The story is gripping, suspenseful and very enjoyable."

Yay! If you want to read her entire review or enter the giveaway for the $30 Amazon gift card, the Booklovers basket, or the set of books from my Hostage Negotiation Team series, go here.

Congratulations Julie! What an exciting time! Our first to be married son just wed the lady of his dreams this May and we couldn't be happier for them. Enjoy each moment and try not to stress.

It's so much fun being the mother-of-the-groom. I was, twice. And I loved watching my sons marry women they loved more than their own lives. (It was in their eyes.) Good luck with your wedding plans. Beautiful couple. Keep tissues handy.
