I can hardly believe it is the last day of 2013! But I'm excited for our traditional Family New Year's Eve party. We do a chocolate fountain with tons of stuff to dip (I think that's the kids' favorite part of the night) and we do shrimp and snacks while we play board games all night. It's the one evening I really look forward to all year! (And of course we all toast the new year with sparkling cider in fancy glasses.)
What do you do for your New Year's Eve? Any fun plans for tonight?
I'm an award-winning romantic suspense novelist, but in my free time I love to review books and my fave TV shows, as well as pass along great book deals, and eat Canadian chocolate---not necessarily in that order.

We like sparkling grape juice in Champagne glasses. The bratwursts are on the grill, and cheesecake is in the fridge. I have all sorts of munchies for us to nibble on while we watch the Twilight Zone marathon. We live too far away from our sons to spend New Years Eve with them, but we had Christmas and Thanksgiving with them, so we can't complain.
Keep your head down when the gunshots ring in the new year. Oh, that could be a regional thing. :)
