I think I should have named this day, hold-on-it's-going-to-get-reaaalllly-busy day. But I am so thrilled to report I wrote almost 3000 words this week. Probably because I'm trying to nail down these revisions and write a decent ending, but I am so excited about this story.
Thank you to everyone who sprinted with us last Wednesday. Anybody up for another sprint tonight at 8?
How did you do on your word count this week?

I think my only word count this week was in the sprint last week. (No, that can't be right, I did revisions, too.)
Hmm, let's go with 1000 (from the sprint) and call it good.
A friend recommended an old book to me, so of course, I pop onto Amazon, find it, send it to my Kindle, only to discover the actual book isn't available on the Kindle yet, but the Graphic Novel is. (That's what I bought.) It's not clear from the Amazon page - I only found out in the reviews.
Oh well, as luck would have it, it's a beautifully done graphic novel of The Last Unicorn by Beagle. I've read about half of it in one sitting. We need a unicorn revolution - I'm tired of zombies and vampires and werewolves.
Dragons would be good, too.
Are you giving me the plot for your next book? Unicorns vs. Dragons?
