What is your favorite family vacation? And how many books did you bring?
My favorite family vacation was when we all went to Hawaii. It was a dream of mine to go and when I won a vacation house stay, it was like the universe was making my dream come true! And I brought my Kindle so I had all the books I could ever want.
Your turn!

One of our best vacations was to Puerto Rico. We stayed at a condo on the beach, hiked through the rainforest, and kayaked in a lagoon. We also brought books. I'm not sure how many, but we came home with two fewer library books than we set out with. One that we lost was a Puerto Rico guidebook--I hope someone has gotten some use from it!
My favorite family vacation is going to Yellowstone and staying in the cabins inside the park. We like to stay in a different area every night. It’s the only time I take a break from reading all year. I want to enjoy the sights and my family.
My favorite vacation is a toss up- I loved going on a trip to Scotland with my parents and a cousin but I also loved a trip to Hawaii with my whole family (parents, brother, sister in law and 2 nieces ages 4 and 2). Both trips I actually didn’t pack a book, I had my iPad which had books but I didn’t read at all those trip (unless you count books to my nieces in Hawaii 🥰- “Goodnight Honolulu” becoming a favorite.
My favorite vacation was a couple years ago when we went to Utah. It was actually the first time flying on a jet for my kids and myself (my husband has flown many times). We had so much fun, and I think I only brought one book, because I knew I wouldn't have much time to read with all of our sightseeing we did. It was so much fun!

We never had money to travel but we did go visit my grandparents every year on their farm in the Catskill Mountains. We always had a blast!
My favorite vacation was our trip to Europe! Thank goodness for my Kindle, I was able to read a ton of books on the flights.
My favorite family vacation was at a house rented near cousins in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The sunset over the dunes, picking mussels off rocks, relaxing at the beach and mini dinosauer golf were all fun. They had paperback books already at the hoem
Some of my earliest memories are from when we went to Calico Ghost Town for the hullabaloo, where my parents pitched horseshoes!
We only went to the beach on family vacation and i would bring one book to last me the day

My favorite family vacation was the time we rented a houseboat and spent time on Lake Powell. It was so fun and memorable. I was a teenager so I don’t remember how many books I brought!
I love cruising! So, all the cruises are my favorite! Books - thousands on my Kindle ;)
I loved going to Hawaii with the family, but I think my very favorite was to Glacier National Park. I don't remember how many books I brought because I only took my Kindle.
Disneyland, if I remember right I had 4 books, and a few to read on my phone.
Probably when my husband and my parents went to Hawaii together. I always take lots of books or my Kindle when I travel and reading on the lanai is the best!
I usually just take my kindle stocked with books. So...too many books! My favorite vacation was to Victoria BC. Although, that could change next week.
Family vacations are the best and I loved hearing about all of yours and the memories you made. Thank you all for sharing!
