Well, someone gets shot in my new story, (surprise!) so I've been researching gunshot wounds and trauma. You guys, don't judge me, but this is FASCINATING stuff! When I was in college I took a class where we dissected a human cadaver (I wanted to go to medical school at one time) and honestly it was one of my favorite classes. I learned so much! And that experience helped my writing, too, with all the things my characters go through physically.
So, anyway, long story short, just know that when you read the scene in this book where someone gets shot, you can be sure it is well-researched! And I had fun doing it. Haha!
