I'm an award-winning romantic suspense novelist, but in my free time I love to review books and my fave TV shows, as well as pass along great book deals, and eat Canadian chocolate---not necessarily in that order.
My kids really, really wanted their school to call a snow day today, so when I saw this, I had to laugh! Anyone else remember back in the day watching the scroll across the bottom of the TV screen to see if your school was closed?
And on that note, what's the weather like where you are. Are you cuddled up with a good book? I'm reading Charming the Shortstop by Heather Moore and really enjoying it!
We listened to the radio for the alphebetized list of counties that were closed. It was a great way to learn the county names, or at least the ones that were most likely to get snow.

I bet! You would definitely need the entire household to be quiet, though. :)
