Celebration Grand Prize Giveaway For My New Romance, Love's Journey Home!

I am so excited to finally have the second book in my Lincoln Love Stories released! Love's Journey Home had so many setbacks in production, I really did wonder if it would ever see the light of day. But it's here and so far is getting really good reviews. I couldn't be happier!

So, in order to celebrate, I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway! There are three prizes:

1. A $25 Amazon gift card.

2. An autographed copy of Love's Journey Home.

And the GRAND PRIZE!

3. A VIP Readers Box with everything you'll need for a book lover's night in! THREE of my favorite books, a warm, soft blanket, gourmet treats, hot chocolate, and some amazing bath bombs. (U.S. addresses only).

I hope you'll come celebrate with me! (Scroll all the way down to enter)

Olivia Dalton has a reputation in the DA’s office---tough, thorough, and fierce when she’s closing a case. Those skills are essential in the courtroom, but not in the relationship department---until Mick Donovan crosses her path. Everyone thinks he’s a player, but when an unexpected situation arises, she glimpses an honorable man instead. Olivia is drawn to him, but he pushes her away, unable to shake the past that still haunts him.

Mick Donovan learned at a young age never to let anyone close because those you love never stay. Keeping people at arms-length has never been hard for him---until he meets Olivia Dalton. Mick is caught up in a case she’s prosecuting, and he can’t deny his attraction to her, but when she uncovers the past he’s kept carefully hidden, he’s sure she’ll turn away. Yet, even with all his secrets in the open, Olivia reaches out. Can he let his guard down long enough to let her in and take a chance on love?

The best date I had 20+ years ago was when my husband arranged with his friend for us to go horseback riding in Idaho on his friend's ranch. I had never really been horseback riding before so it was exciting -- especially when my horse decided to race and I got to experience galloping for the first time.

This is hard! I think a photo scavenger hunt either in a mall or a store would be fun.

I’m not creative enough to think of a unique date. But the best date I ever went on was to a Neil Diamond concert 😊

I think a unique and fun date would be getting a healthy meal together and then going out and enjoying nature together.

One unique date idea I've heard of (but have never tried!) would be indoor skydiving! That could be fun I think, since the conditions are controlled and it's safe. Another would be indoor trampolining at places that rent usage time for really cool giant floor-to-wall trampoline spaces!

Our unique date was to walk to the beach, it took us all day and then night to walk back, but it was fun.

In college, one of my friend's mom had a nonprofit organization, Mother's Without Borders, and we decided as a group at church to help do a fun fundraiser for the organization. Everyone contributed by listing something they had to donate or a talent, skill, or other random things, on a card. The items were auctioned off. Well a group of four male roommates got together and donated two very creative dates. At the time the TV show Elimidate was very popular. So they came up with their own version of Elimidate and auctioned two off. My friend and I both won one of the dates. It was so much fun. We started by doing one activity all together, laser tag, then I would slowly eliminate one of the guys. Each guy had an activity picked out that we would go do next, depending on if he was eliminated or not. We went to dinner as part of the activities and ice cream as one of the final guy's picks. My friend and I each ended with a different guy on our dates. It was fun and definitely a unique dating experience.

One of my daughters had a first date at one of those chambers where they float or fly. Then to an indoor rock climbing event. She loved it. They are now married with 2 children now.

My most unique date was my husband told me and my girlfriend from school to get really dressed up that we were going somewhere. We ended up in SF going to places that he knew from growing up there and had the most amazing dinner there and after listening to a really neat band. Plus after he took us to the beach and it was amazing as he knew that i loved being there. peggy clayton
