As most of you know, I released a romance a few months back called Love's Broken Road. This was a whole new thing for me and I was nervous about it, but the book was really well-received. I even have the next book in the series outlined and I've been working on my opening scenes. It's so exciting for me!
Here's the thing. I also have an idea for a historical romance. I love reading historical romance, but never thought I'd write one, so this idea is a little scary for me. I don't know if I can really do justice to the historical genre.
So, here's my question to you: How do you feel when authors change genres? Does it bother you? Do you have one genre in mind for a certain author and it's weird when they try to write in another? I need some outside opinions on this. That historical would definitely be out of my comfort zone, so should I stick to romantic suspense? Or romance?
*sigh*
Help a girl out and give me some opinions, will you?

Don't limit yourself. If you have a good idea, go for it!
Historical Romance is SUCH a great genre! I know you would do awesome with anything! Why not try it?
Thanks, T and NaDell! I appreciate your support more than you know!
