Art Imitates Life In My New Book!

My new book, Second Look, required me to research what would happen if our electrical substations were compromised (and I learned a lot about how vulnerable we truly are.) I ended up putting in a whole story arc about the country's electrical grid.

Then, yesterday, it was reported that a transformer exploded in New York that cut power to LaGuardia airport and a prison. (Wouldn't that be a great story right there?) But I thought it was really interesting that something I'd just written/researched about and put in my book really happened!
