Are You Ready to Sprint?

Okay, here's what we're going to do. Come back at 8:15 and tell us in the comment trail how many words you've written.  Then we'll do the same at 8:30, 8:45 and end at 9:00 p.m.

Are you ready?  Here we go . . .

  7. Okay I finished with 2695. WOOHOO! Kasey you got over 1300? That's so awesome! Thank you so much for sprinting with me, guys. It helps so much! There's nothing that motivates me more, I think. We need to do it again next week for sure.

    Thanks again Kasey and Jon!

  8. 217 words in the last half hour. Haven't quite finished the chapter yet, so I'll probably continue working on it until it's done.

    The chase is on!

(Julie, thanks so much for doing this. I really did need some motivation tonight to write and this was the perfect opportunity.)

  10. Jon, it's so motivating for me. I'm just glad I wasn't alone tonight! It was so great to have you and Kasey to sprint with. Makes me want to keep going too, but I can't tonight. I feel so jazzed about the chapter I just put down, though. I really needed this, too. Thanks!

  11. Thanks guys! It was perfect for me because I reached a good stopping point. Man, if we do this every week I’ll hit my weekly word count goals in two hours. Sweet! Wait...maybe that means I should up my word count goals...hmmm.... Thanks again! :-)
