Well, I went on a little getaway with my husband, so my word count was zero. I didn't even have any plot ideas or anything. But I did have a great time on my mini-vacation and I really needed that.
How did you do this week?
I'm an award-winning romantic suspense novelist, but in my free time I love to review books and my fave TV shows, as well as pass along great book deals, and eat Canadian chocolate---not necessarily in that order.
Yay for vacations! I went to a conference, so no word count for me, either. I got to see my older son and his beautiful wife up in Draper (near Provo), and they made me breakfast in bed on Mother's Day, and I didn't have to clean a dish for the whole week. Oh, so wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI'm happy to report that I did do some writing, but I don't have a count, because I was more focused on working than on number of words. I did advance a page towards my current goal of 100. (92!)
This chapter is going to need some heavy revising after I'm done, though. It's sort of a background info / relationship building moment, but I think it might benefit from adding a little more tension. (Bonus: used the word Zombie.)
Yay, Jon! Not only for nearing that 100 page mark, but for using Zombie in a serious sentence. Wow!
