I'm an award-winning romantic suspense novelist, but in my free time I love to review books and my fave TV shows, as well as pass along great book deals, and eat Canadian chocolate---not necessarily in that order.

Let's Do This!
Okay! It's time. Meet me back here in fifteen minutes with your word count.
I only got 623 for my third fifteen minutes. My story mojo is slowing down, too, but it really is fun to sprint and have you guys to share it with. I never get as much done any other way!
You're welcome Kristine! I'm so glad you got to join us! We do it every Wednesday, but I'm sure you know that.
I got 359 for the last fifteen. Not too shabby! 2405 words in an hour and I met my daily goal. I am feeling dang good my friends! Thank you all so much for doing it with me. Seriously. You guys are amazing!
1278 words total. Jon, 1345? You beat me! 2405 words, Julie? Super achievement. I can't type that fast on a hyper day. 1381 words Kristine. Congratulations.
I was officially the slowest participant, but I'll take them.
I made it, but none of my check-ins posted. I got 957 words. This is the first time I've ever participated in a sprint. It was kind of fun. I may have to try again.:)
We're off!
ReplyDeleteSlightly late, but I'll join in for a lap or two!
ReplyDeleteOkay, in the first fifteen minutes I got exactly 700 words. Woohoo! How did you guys do?
ReplyDelete333. No guarantees I'll go for the full hour, but I'm happy with that for a start!
ReplyDelete346 words at 8:15. Not so much action as remains of action.
ReplyDelete328 words at 8:15.
ReplyDeleteWe are awesome! Seriously!
ReplyDeleteOkay for the second fifteen minutes I got 723. How about you guys?
ReplyDeleteSecond 15 I got 411. Wahoo!
ReplyDelete319 in 2nd quarter. Slowing down because my wife keeps talking to me and I don't want to tell her to stop.
ReplyDeleteJust trust me.
302 for the second 15 minutes. I'm getting slower. I didn't prepare for my story.
ReplyDelete451 this time. Yeah!
ReplyDelete342 more words. I'm keeping a steady pace, anyway.

ReplyDelete472, but I went over a couple of minutes. You guys are doing great!
ReplyDeleteMan, we're good! Last fifteen!
ReplyDeleteOkay, kids are calling. 1381 for the session, which is better than I do most days. Thanks for holding this Julie!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job everyone! BIC HOK TAM!

306 for the last break, 1345 total. (Does that add up?) I agree with Kristine, I rarely have that kind of production for an hour's work.
ReplyDeleteTotal word count: 13,682. Still 3500 to go to make my .33333333 NaNo.
Thanks Julie!
That is incredible, Jon! Woohoo! I love sprinting. I never am as productive at any other time.
