Now you have to write those culinary international romantic suspense novels!

I know that weird,in-between feeling, Julie, where you want to keep it forever and share it, too.

I polished about 80 pages in the last week. Woot!

BTW, you won't like me when I'm angry. Pages! ;)Jordan McCollumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16523599384793856702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-79625759801775378182012-08-01T15:42:10.714-06:002012-08-01T15:42:10.714-06:00Randy, I'm so glad you like it. I always need the accountability and it's nice to find other writers in my same boat---trying to get some writing done! :)

Rebecca, you're right, starting a new project will be fun. I should totally concentrate on that. :)

Jon, you made me hungry with all your chocolate confection talk. Bad Jon! As for your friend I'm sure they are thrilled to know that. Especially since you are a reader for so many famous authors. It must have been an awesome scene to keep you riveted. And yes, I will have all my books there for sale. It's a miracle! As for publishing, Covenant wouldn't have a slot for me until 2014. That seems so far away . . .

Debra, I am shocked at your language and clutching my pearls as we speak. :) Next week will be better I'm sure.Julie Coulter Bellonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07695605817809301518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-80806068920717414172012-08-01T14:19:09.577-06:002012-08-01T14:19:09.577-06:00My writing sucked this week--pardon my language. My writing sucked this week--pardon my language.Debra Erferthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08239033133090036826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-56654578674805962292012-08-01T12:27:37.984-06:002012-08-01T12:27:37.984-06:00Two questions:

(What? Yes, I do have a little bit of a sweet tooth. Why do you ask?)

Is there a chance that when you get ready to publish, Covenant might want a last look at it to potentially pick it up?

If not, I would love to see some more details on how the self-publish process goes.

In a completely unrelated matter, I've been doing some test reading to help out a friend and I told my wife I'd go and get dinner once I got to the end of the scene. Forty minutes later, she asks when I'm going. Oops! Got lost in the story. I'm sure my friend will love to hear that!Jon Spellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13283068961865370674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-23428819374997835562012-08-01T11:49:31.968-06:002012-08-01T11:49:31.968-06:00I sent my book off to beta readers. I've heard...I sent my book off to beta readers. I've heard back from a couple already. So far, no big changes. Meanwhile, I keep tweaking.

I agree that it's both exciting and a little sad to finish a book. Writing the ending is so exciting, and it's kind of a let-down to have to start all over. Of course, it'll probably be just as fun to write the ending to the next one.rebecca h jamisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17064838500590684945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-14271299538654429532012-08-01T11:12:20.015-06:002012-08-01T11:12:20.015-06:00Julie, I really like this feature on your blog. This week I will be working on a synopsis so I can submit my finished novel.Randyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16621043763559564251noreply@blogger.com
