Yay for you guys.

I recieved half of my official final edits from my editor. so I spent the last few days acccepting additions and deletions, as well as addressing some technology issues and consistency issues in the ms. While I didn't write I got a lot of work done. :)

Next week? the second half of edits and then its off to the typesetter I believe.

Whoohoo!

C. I've got outlines for two sequels, and I am so, so, so, so excited!!! :)Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02739830983426330836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-77894149988248963212012-09-19T12:49:27.186-06:002012-09-19T12:49:27.186-06:00I bet you're writing a romance! Hmmmm, now I'm so curious I can't hardly think.

This week I've finished a query letter (very tough to do) and outlined the synopsis for "Snowdrift" (Thank you, again, Melanie Goldmund!). I haven't been keeping track of the word count, there just isn't a way to do that and be accurate. What else? Oh, I continued to write on a previous WIP in between, but didn't keep track of that either (it needs a new first chapter).

I still haven't heard anything yet from Shadow Mountain publishing after their full request of "Bucket List of Hope," but it's only been two weeks now. Or has it been three? I almost don't have any nails left--so nervous. I did like the idea of somebody hopping into another person's back yard with the intent to toilet paper everything, only to find a freshly dug grave. I wish I could make something of that!

Julie, I'll be interested in hearing about your Super Secret project once it's not so secret anymore. :-)Melanie Goldmundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00270135660110676225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-50886893314947331282012-09-19T11:27:37.597-06:002012-09-19T11:27:37.597-06:00I have the hardest time getting through rough draf...I have the hardest time getting through rough drafts. The one I'm working on is technically a rewrite, but I've changed so much it might as well be a rough draft. I love getting to the scenes I've already pictured a thousand times in my head and writing them again. I'm not on one of those scenes right now. My word count isn't super high.Janice Sperryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00178805752960449557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-17887352205200959732012-09-19T10:54:36.826-06:002012-09-19T10:54:36.826-06:00Jon, I have more than one source of writing. (But then I have to transcribe it onto my computer at home.) Anybody else do that? Are you going to try to make a clean version of 50 Shades of Grey? And whenever I sat down and forced myself to write, I found that I was letting myself get distracted by anything and everything. So in other words, not much has happened here, and I am actually doing some housework while waiting for a new plot bunny to bite my ankle.
Melanie Goldmundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00270135660110676225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4421706587311875668.post-74072070064754527072012-09-19T10:38:33.604-06:002012-09-19T10:38:33.604-06:00Yay, Julie!
